he Tradition Of The Red Candle
The
Red Candle has long been a tradition of the San Francisco Region to mean
"Good Luck to you while we are apart my friend" and is to some,
nothing less than a mystical symbol...........
..........It all started, innocently
enough, just prior to the 1972 ARRC. Bob Leip, a turn marshal from the San
Francisco Region, was preparing for a trek across the country to some
obscure track in Flowery Branch, Georgia.....
